If you need to redirect, use redirect middleware which is similar to replacepath middleware. Thanks Yury.Regex Tester and generator. Please input test string. Test regex Generate code.

After talking with support, reading documentation, and looking at other discussions here, I have come up with the following action. There are two problems with it currently. The first, and most important to solve, is that it is causing everything from the first instance of the text, through the last instance of the text 4 in my working dev environment to be replaced with a single instance of the replacement text. The second issue is not knowing how to get parts of the matching text specifically the number in the host name, and the query string parameter to be used in the replacement text.
I think I covered things well enough to define what I am trying to do, but if there are any questions please let me know. This is currently being developed on our VPX used for internal environments before deploying to our MPX for production.
